Lake St. Clair Perch Reports
We’ve been getting reports of perch being caught in various area around the lake. Most of the reports have been coming out around the 400 Club tower in 8-10 feet of water. We’ve also got some reports of perch coming just south of the St. Clair Light. Most of the fish coming on shiners and perch rigs. AS I said reports from all over, so try these spots first and if that doesn’t work, look for the boats. Good luck out there.
Lake St. Clair Fishing Report – Last Ice
Stopped by Gino’s and there were a few guys still out there fishing. They were catching some perch on teardrops with minnows. The fish were decent, but the ice was not. The same goes for the Selfridge area. Guys are going through, but luckily the water is down. A 3-wheeler broke through the other day by Anglers Point Marina. There have been some guys catching some nice perch in Anchor Bay, but beware of the ice. I don’t recommend anyone heading out and think this is it for the ice. I’m ready for Spring anyway. How about you?
Ice Report for Lake St. Clair
The ice is a bit tricky for fishing. The main lake is breaking down quickly, but there is some ice in protected areas. Not many reports except for the canals. Getting reports of some gills and crappie being taken in the Metro Beach area canals and marina. Be careful as there is a bit of a current that runs down the Black Creek. Good luck and be safe.
